Terms of service
Effective date: 2026-08-04
Last updated: 2026-08-04
1. Who we are and what you are agreeing to
1.1 Senary Design ("Senary", "we", "us") operates the senary.design website and the Senary Design iOS application (together, the "Service"). Senary Design is operated from Australia. For all matters concerning these terms, contact base@senary.design.
1.2 These terms are an agreement between you and Senary. By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1.3 Our Privacy Policy, published at senary.design/privacy, explains how we handle personal data. These terms refer to it rather than repeat it.
2. The service
2.1 The Service is a self-awareness tool. It combines your birth chart with daily planetary positions and, if you connect it, your body signal data, so you can observe your own patterns.
2.2 The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something the Service shows you. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified health professional.
2.3 The disclaimer shown in the app applies to the whole Service:
"Senary is a theoretical exploration combining your Human Design chart with your body signal data. It is not medical advice. It is not predictive of life events. We use planetary positions and your birth chart as a symbolic framework to surface patterns in your physical activity data. Treat insights as exploration, not prescription."
2.4 Parts of the Service are offered as a beta. Beta features may change, behave imperfectly, or be withdrawn.
3. Accounts
3.1 You can create an account with an email address and password, or with Sign in with Apple.
3.2 The information you give us when you register must be accurate and kept up to date. One account per person. Do not share your account or use someone else's.
3.3 You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself, and write to base@senary.design if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
3.4 You must be at least 13 to create an account. Research participation, described in section 4, is available from the age of 16.
4. Research participation
4.1 The Service includes an optional research programme. What data is involved, how it is stored, and how you leave are governed entirely by the Privacy Policy, in particular its clauses on Research Data and on ending participation.
5. Personal access tokens
5.1 You can generate a personal access token in the app. Your token is your access: anyone who holds it can read the data it reaches. Keep it secret and treat it like a password.
5.2 If you give your token to a third-party service, such as an AI assistant, that service receives the data the token can read and handles it under its own terms, not ours. That is your choice to make, and yours to unmake by revoking the token in Settings.
5.3 We may rate-limit token requests, and we may revoke tokens to protect the Service or on signs of abuse. What a token can read is described in the Privacy Policy's Personal Access Tokens section.
6. Acceptable use
6.1 Use the Service for yourself. You must not:
(a) access, or attempt to access, another person's data, or scrape data from the Service;
(b) reverse engineer, decompile, or probe the Service, except to the extent the law gives
you that right regardless of these terms;
(c) resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute access to the Service or its
interfaces, including token access;
(d) interfere with the operation or security of the Service, or circumvent its rate limits
or access controls.
6.2 If your use threatens the Service or other users, we may suspend it first and contact you second.
7. Ownership
7.1 The Service, including its software, design, and content, belongs to Senary Design or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use it while these terms are in place.
7.2 Your data remains yours. The Privacy Policy governs what we do with it.
8. Subscriptions and payments
8.1 Membership is purchased on the senary.design website and processed by Stripe. The price is shown before you buy. The iOS application does not sell anything.
8.2 Membership is billed monthly and renews each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the subscription management portal, and your access continues to the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
8.3 We do not refund part of a billing period on cancellation. Clause 10.1 is unaffected: your rights under the Australian Consumer Law stand regardless of this clause.
9. Termination and account deletion
9.1 You can stop using the Service at any time. "Delete all data" in the app, under Account and privacy, clears the information held on your device and starts the app over; it does not close your account. To close your account, write to base@senary.design. What happens to your data on deletion is set out in the Privacy Policy.
9.2 We may suspend or close your account if you materially breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service.
10. Warranties and liability
10.1 Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where a consumer guarantee applies and the law allows our liability for failing to meet it to be limited, it is limited, at our choice, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
10.2 Beyond what clause 10.1 preserves, the Service is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise any particular outcome from using it.
10.3 To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit arising from the Service, and our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD 100.
10.4 The clauses in section 2 are part of this allocation of risk: insights are exploration, not advice, and decisions you take remain your own.
11. Governing law
11.1 These terms are governed by the laws of NSW, Australia, and the courts of that state and the federal courts of Australia have jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
12.1 We may amend these terms. The current version, with its effective date, is published at senary.design/terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Using the Service after the effective date means the amended terms apply.
